Matthew10 International Ministries

MISSION JOURNAL - OCTOBER 2006

It's hard to believer that today was the last day of the pastors' conference.By the end of the three days we had approximately 1000 pastors and associated leadership in attendance. The tent was packed. But it seemed as though everyone there hung on every word of the speakers.

The morning began again with praise and worship. Then Pastor Micah took the stage. Micah;s messages have been anointed, This morning he spoke about Gods ability to change your situation "just like that" (snap fingers hers).. The rest of the day attendees broke the language barrier by walking up to Micah and snapping their fingers. Micah said he was very sad it was over because he felt very connected to these ministers. It is actually really easy to get attached to these people.

Then Bishop Slay took the stage as he completed his series on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and finished with an impartation over the pastors. Equipping these men of God with the tools they need is vital for the success of their ministry. By teaching them how to tap into God;;s power is important for the success and growth of their ministry..

It is not an easy world they live in. In fact most of these ministers survive on about $1.50 US a day. If you ever felt lead to help someone in this situation, Click Here and learn about sponsoring a pastor.

This morning also marks the last clinics for our Chiropractors and Prayer Team. Once these people understood how GREAT being adjusted made them feel, the lines for the doctors were always quite long during the breaks between speakers. But as we said before, they not only lay hands on them to adjust their spine, they also lay hands on them to adjust their spirit and pray for God's healing grace. They are an incredible part of our team., as are those who are there to pray. What a great job they all did.

saris

And what more can we say about our "women of might"? They met with the widows for the last time today. God has shown these women great favor this trip. You may remember they came several days early and began a tour of several different cities carrying their message to church leadership and widows all around the region. On their way here they lost their luggage... But NOT Peggy's guitar! The airline gave them money for clothes so they went out got Saris to wear. Little did they know the favor that would give them with the widows! Because of the lost luggage, they learned some important traditions with woman, their dress and worship. And since Peggy's guitar made it she was able to lead worship! And praise God their luggage made it to them the next day. What looked like a tragedy, was really a blessing.

As a gift of Agape, the ladies gave saris to the widows. For many this will be the only new clothes they receive! What a blessing... and for you who contributed money for the saris, know that you blessed these women greatly.

Thank you for giving to the Lord! Click here and learn how you can sponsor a widow.

100,000+ People!!!

As far as they eye could see and beyond...the grounds were at capacity and they just kept coming. 100 trucks combed the country side and surrounding communities bringing everyone who otherwise could not make it. Many came looking for a miracle, others were just curious, still others had heard about this Jesus who could guarantee their eternal life and they to know more. Whatever their reason for making their way to the crusade grounds, they came ready to hear what this American preacher had to say.

God had shared visions with the team about what he was going to do. Some sensed angelic presence, while others actually heard angelic songs manifested in their hearing. Pastor Tony spoke of a large angle wielding a sword over the field, clearing the air in preparation for the evening's event.

God's forces were assembled and so were we... ready to reap a harvest for the kingdom.

As Dr. Pete took the podium and looked over this unbelievable crowd, the peace of God settled over him and he began to speak. As he lead them through an understanding of Christ's sacrifice on the cross on our behalf and how he was our complete sacrifice for salvation and healing... it was so powerful.... and obviously so did the multitude in attendance. As he gave the invitation to come to know the personal Jesus Christ, every hand shot into the air... or at least it seemed that way. Literally, all you could see as you looked across the grounds was a see of hands waving in the air for Jesus. And when he gave the call to come forward, once again these hungry people ran to the stage. But in reality, only a fraction of those coming to the Lord could fit into the area in front of the stage. Those accepting Christ stretched from the front to the back of the grounds. And as they joined Dr. Pete in the sinner's prayer, the shear volume of their response sent chills through you. There is now way to actually tell how many were saved, but with over 100,000 people there and a response that appeared to be the vast majority, I would say the heavens were truly rejoicing.

Throughout the service, Dr. Pete would gave words of knowledge regarding healings that were going on throughout the grounds. At the end, after he had prayed over the crowd for healing, those words were confirmed by testimonies from those God touched. One little boy had been blind, and saw an intense bright light and now could see. Dr. Pete spoke of woman with breast cancer whose tumor was melting away... that woman came forward and testified to the fact that it had been so bad she could not raise her arm. She was completely healed and walked from the stage waving her arms in the air. Praise Jesus!

Dr Pete asked the crowd to raise their hands if God had truly healed them... thousands and thousands of hands shot into the air! This night was one of the most powerful night most of us had ever seen.
