MISSION JOURNAL - NOVEMBER 2007

Wednesday, November 14, 2007 Today is a travel day. We got up from a short night's sleep in the Manna Ministries Guest House and headed once again to the airport to catch a plane to a little town that is just a three hour bus ride from our next stop in Nellore. We figured it out that at the end of this trip we will have been on 10 airplanes, at least as many bus trips and 2 days in cars. Road weary does not even begin to describe how our posteriors feel.
	We were joined yesterday by our newest team members Lester and Holly Recter. Husband and wife singers/worship leaders currently living in Atlanta, GA where they base their full time music ministry. They have traveled the world singing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. They have 2 children, Alexis Madison and Alyia Mercedes. They met Dr. Pete in July of 2007 while ministering at his church, Park West Church of God in Knoxville, TN, where they began conversations about including their gifts on this crusade. A month earlier the Lord spoke to them aobut traveling overseas and preparing themselves for crusade ministry. They have a heart for music and desire to lead people into the presence of God through their music. With 3 recorded albums they were blessed to have their first song in the top 20 on the CRW charts earlier this year..
Also joining us for his second trip is Justin Schnichels. He will serve as security support: Justin and his wife Kelli live in Minneapolis.with their 2 children, Sydney (girl, 3) Jack (1). Justin is a relationship manager/asst. VP for Wells Fargo Bank. His wife is Dr. Pete's wife Stephanie's sister. He came on this trip because the experience he had last year was so powerful that he felt he just had to return. He is also here to support his brother-in-law Dr. Pete.
We will arrive in in Nellore tonight and begin our work tomorrow. Please pray that all goes well.
